Despite a legal background, Sibusiso previously worked exclusively in the sports media field. Starting out as a junior writer at Mokoena Sports’ now defunct Football Arena magazine, he went on to be appointed editor, and was integral in growing the publication throughout the SADC region.
In 2010, Sibusiso founded the sports multimedia company Currentsy Media and Marketing, specialising in print, television, radio and online sports coverage and marketing which he ran until joining the Mnambithi Group team. Working with brands that include, McDonalds, Coca Cola, SABMiller, PRASA, Thebe Med, Multichoice, Igagasi FM and ETV.
